Featuring exterior and interior design by Bannenberg & Rowell, the 56m MOON SAND superyacht has been spotted whilst arriving at the Lurssen shipyard for additional works. The yacht represents the yard’s return to smaller sized luxury yachts, after years of predominantly building majestic mega yachts.
The lines of MOON SAND reflect those of the 1973 yacht CARINTHIA VI, the first more important yacht designed by Jon Bannenberg. The vessel boasts such luxury amenities as a pool on the main deck aft, various alfresco dining possibilities, a spacious upper deck or a vast sun deck.
Delivered in 2021, she was built with an aluminium superstructure and a steel hull, with a beam of 10.2m and her volume is 835 GT.
