Launched in April and delivered 2 months later, 55m/180ft motor yacht LILI is a highly customised vessel from Amels’s Limited Editions line and features an exterior design by Tim Heywood. Her hull is described as ‘castle tan and jet black’ for a fresh and on-trend appearance shared with one of the other luxury yachts on this list.

“The AMELS 180 has proven highly popular on the superyacht market and LILI will add to that with her many unique customisations and beautiful colour scheme,” Amels Commercial Director Rose Damen commented at the Launch of M/Y LILI.

Among her amenities is a 4 metre long pool on the sundeck and the dining room on the main deck features folding bulwarks on both the port and starboard sides for a greater connection to the environment while enjoying shaded dining.

Lurssen 74m/243ft superyacht AURORA was originally known to the media as PROJECT THOR but was also called PROJECT  GATSBY. She has an interior and exterior from British designers Winch Design, who created a detailed environment inspired by art deco motifs:

“Aurora has her own authentic charm; she is a modern interpretation of an old classic, with a number of innovative features such as a large portlight to the main staircase and custom, state-of-the-art exterior lighting across each deck. Numerous remarkable artworks can be found on the bridge deck, which also features an aft bar for entertaining.”

Support vessels GAME CHANGER and NEW FRONTIERS kept Damen Yachts busy throughout the first and second quarter of 2017, with launches in February and July respectively. The latter was delivered to her owners in September and spotted ahead of her public debut at the Monaco Yacht Show.

“NEW FRONTIERS is ripping up the rule book,” said Commercial Director Rose Damen. “It’s still a Yacht Support vessel, but you can’t put this vessel into one category or another – and that reflects exactly the wishes of our clients. They want their holiday to be about freedom and spontaneity – NEW FRONTIERS makes that possible. Whether it’s a weekend dive adventure trip away from their superyacht or enjoying two locations at once linked by helicopter, it’s all about unforgettable experiences and freedom. We’re very excited to introduce NEW FRONTIERS in Monaco.”

The first hull in the Steel52 series, of which three more hulls are currently in development, M/Y SEVEN SINS consists of 5 decks dedicated to outdoor living and indoor entertainment: the Sundeck contains a spacious hot tub and bar, and other facilities include a foredeck solarium and a glass-bottomed pool that creates a skylight to the beach club below. Side bulwarks open up to expand the guest area even further, allowing guests to spend time outdoors close to the water.

6 large guest cabins are located across the decks and SEVEN SINS has a top speed of 17.5 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

The largest yacht on display at the Monaco Yacht Show, 110m/361ft mega yacht JUBILEE has turned heads while cruising along the South of France fresh from her win at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and she will certainly command attention throughout the three-day spectacle. Winner of Yacht of the Year at the World Yacht Trophies 2017, she is more than size alone: Lobanov Design created her exterior profile and Sam Sorgiovanni was responsible for her beautiful interiors, including creating the 15 luscious cabins for 30 guests.

Among her amenities is a fully certified helicopter deck with a concealed hangar underneath, a generous beach club and a swimming pool with a built-in aquarium to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation even farther. An outdoor cinema, a hammam and a sauna add even more opulence for guests to enjoy while cruising from one picturesque beach to the next.
