Interior designers Darnet Design have announced the delivery of the 64m/210ft luxury yacht ATOMIC to her American Owners. To mark this occasion they have revealed the stunning interior and exterior living spaces to showcase the customisation and comfort on board.
Superyacht ATOMIC is a sistership to SEALYON (ex.CANDYSCAPE II) and RoMa, with further personalised features to match the Owners’ lifestyles. The exteriors were penned by critically-acclaimed designer Espen Oeino and boast social areas across four decks: The sundeck acts as the main hub for gatherings and comes furnished with a glass-bottomed infinity pool aft, a bar amidships and a fire pit forward along with an abundance of sunbeds spread out for resting in the sunshine or stargazing in remote destinations.
The interiors from Darnet Design had the benefit of past experience creating for the Owners, and thus used a preferential colour palette coupled with textures created using natural materials such as American walnut and nickel accents. Lighting plays a vital role in establishing the ambience onboard, whether it’s in the hallways and stairwells reflected off the mirrored ceiling or the spectacular contemporary chandelier above the formal dining table.
Minimalist curves and amply-sized soft furnishings create desirable lounging areas across the decks. One notable artistic feature of the main salon is a large sculpted decorative bronze panel that symbolises the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the connection between the American Owners and the European shipyard.
The Owners are both avid divers, and the custom-built dive centre by Moondog is certainly a reflection of this: The back-lit glass-enclosed lockers store equipment while also creating an efficient layout for storage of up to 24 scuba tank bottles. There are also air and nitric filling stations for longer or deeper dives, a central bench and a hyperbaric chamber for one that has sensors so that a medic can monitor conditions from the shore.
The accommodation is designed for up to 12 guests in 6 en-suite cabins, with the raised Master suite on the main deck forward providing views of nearly 270 degrees. There is a his-and-hers en-suite bathroom with a dimmable glass panel that harmoniously adds an interesting feature to the white Botticino marble surroundings. The Master suite is further personalised by a central wooden sculpture by Thierry Martenon, and side terraces that blend interior and exterior boundaries: A reading lounge is on the starboard side and a panoramic shower to port.
Two VIP staterooms are directly behind the main deck master suite, while the rest of the guest accommodation is situated on the lower deck and includes a spacious children’s bedroom/playroom with double bunks on both sides.
Luxury yacht ATOMIC is a successful collaboration between VSY shipyard, Espen Oeino and Darnet Design which will give her Owners endless hours of joy, adventure and relaxation for many years to come.
