Every Princess yacht is the creation of the Design Studio, this established 14-strong in-house team draws on experience which has evolved through years of cutting edge motor yacht design. Based at the Princess headquarters in Plymouth and the London office in Mayfair, and forming part of a wider design centre including the CAD and engineering departments, the Design Studio is at the centre of a dynasty that has been the spearhead for yacht design and styling for 50 years.
An essential part of the Design Studio team are the customer facing consultants based in Mayfair, London. Below 88ft, the Design Studio consultants carefully coordinate creative and diverse schemes to give owners maximum personal choice, with hundreds of fabric and finish options to choose from, every one complimenting the interior styling of a yacht.

Above 88ft the level of service becomes even more personal with a dedicated Design Studio consultant working with an owner to realize their perfect yacht. Styling includes everything from bespoke furniture, fabrics and lighting to entertainment systems, deck furniture and even sports equipment. The choice of wood, stone and other textures will bring together an overall concept to make an owner’s yacht truly unique. The studio will regularly commission one-off furniture pieces and unique creations from artisans from across the world. Additionally, the Princess family ties to LVMH enabling them to collaborate with some of the most illustrious fashion houses, enjoying a close relationship with Fendi Casa.

Members of the Design Studio team will always be there to help manage the project, but the studio can and do work closely with appointed outside designers, such as Bannenberg & Rowell, Francois Zuretti and Mark Berryman.
