M/Y Princess Mariana has been sold and her new name is motor yacht Pegasus V.
In a collaboration between Camper & Nicholsons International and with Merle Wood & Associates and Ken Denison the well-known yacht Princess Mariana has been sold. The 258-foot (78.6m) Royal Denship is now renamed the 5th Pegasus superyacht (PEGASUS V).
Martyn Walker, a veteran captain has now taken command of ‘Pegasus V’. The yacht brokers involved in the sale were the CNI brokers Fernando Nicholson and Rick Morales along with Merle Wood & Associates and Ken Denison.
She was built in 2003 and again refitted in 2006. Superyacht Pegasus V accommodates up to 12 yacht charter guests overnight in six staterooms. Amongst a large list of features and amenities the Pegasus V yacht has six decks, a beach club, a 12m swimming pool )with underwater lighting) a sundeck with helipad, a cinema, and a lounge deck with bar. The asking price was US$98 million and her actual sale price has not been disclosed.
This superyacht is wonderful for entertainment or charter holidays as her decks are very spacious and there are plenty of dining opportunities to choose from for guests. For example, one level up from the bridge deck there is the party deck with two bars, casual seating areas, a raised dance floor, a grand piano, three cinema screens, a barbeque, sun beds and a spa pool! There is a cinema on the main deck with seating for 13 guests. There is also a helipad on board luxury yacht Pegasus V – and when the helicopter has left, it becomes a golf driving range with a massive screen showing a host of well-known courses.
