Respected UK-based luxury yacht builder Princess Yachts International is looking forward to the upcoming Boot Düsseldorf – scheduled to take place at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre in Germany from 18 – 26 January 2014 – where it will exhibit nine striking models from its growing motor yacht portfolio. This will include the new, highly acclaimed V48 with an enclosed main deck saloon from its V Class sports yacht range, which will see her debut at the show, as well as three further Princess vessels – the 43, the 52 and the Princess 82 Super Yacht – also premiering at Dusseldorf.
This year, Princess Yachts International is set to dazzle visitors with its diverse selection of luxury yachts on display. On stand B21, Hall 6 Princess will feature no fewer than six elegant flybridge models; the Princess 43, 52, 56, Princess 72 Motor Yacht, 82 Motor Yacht, Princess 98 Motor Yacht, and three high-performance sports cruisers; the V Class V39, V48 and V57.
The new V48 has attracted praise from around the world since its world premiere at Southampton in September 2013. It is the first craft from the Plymouth-based manufacturer to feature the latest Volvo IPS engines and drive system which, combined with a highly efficient hull design, delivers outstanding performance and handling both at sea and at close quarters.
The main deck features a spacious enclosed saloon which can be swiftly transformed via a large powered roof and triple sliding doors that connect to the aft cockpit to create one large alfresco area. Below decks the lower saloon provides a more intimate haven in which to relax and is ideally located adjacent to the galley which has been equipped to provide everything needed for an extended stay on board. Two large en-suite cabins provide sumptuous accommodation with a vast and exceptionally light owner’s stateroom amidships and a forward guest cabin with the option of a ‘scissor berth’ system to create a double or twin beds as required.
The largest of the Princess fleet to be presented at the show is the sleek and stylish Princess 98 Motor Yacht, which is returning to Boot for the second year running and will once again be one of the largest yacht at the event.
Designed for long range cruising, she comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with a choice of 4 or 5 staterooms, and features a vast flybridge and exterior spaces which have been designed with entertaining in mind. Beautifully styled for comfort and privacy, her chic interior has been accessorised in collaboration with Italian fashion house and fellow LVMH brand, Fendi Casa; further testament to Princess’ commitment to creating yachts of the very finest specification and best in class.
Also at the show is the new Princess 43, an iconic flybridge yacht which launched in 2013. This incredibly spacious new yacht delivers impeccable performance and seakeeping with efficient cruising across a wide range of speeds, combined with straightforward handling, comfort and elegance.
Her sleek exterior and an all new light-weight resin-infused hull, which has been optimised to provide a smooth transition to plane and a wide range of planing speeds, is enhanced by an immaculately finished interior with large windows (in the style seen on the Princess 52) which fill the main deck with natural light and ensure wonderful views and excellent visibility for the lower helm.
