The new 50m superyacht Project Maia has been unveiled at Heesen Yachts. Maia is currently under construction and is scheduled for delivery in 2018. Her beautiful profile was drawn by Clifford Denn. Reymond Langdon design studio is working on her interior design, which, no doubt, will have a fantastic timeless styling, as seen in superyacht Ann G – the previous project of the designers and shipyard.
Maia will provide accommodation for ten guests in five luxurious staterooms. The master suite will be located on the main deck, while three double and one twin cabins will be on the lower deck.
Alike the other luxury superyachts by Heesen Maia will feature a luxurious beach club, where her guests can relax, sunbathe and sip some cocktails.
There will be plenty of storage for tenders on the foredeck. With a pair MTU engine, Maia will be able to reach a top speed of 15 kn and to cruise with a speed of 12 kn.
A couple of months ago the construction of YN 18556 began at the shipyard. There are currently eight yachts under construction at Heesen. In addition to that, the shipyard is preparing to launch two superyachts this year, which will undoubtedly become some of the most important and interesting superyachts of 2017.
