The elegant 38m/124.8ft luxury gulet STELLA MARIS has been cruising the waters of the Adriatic Sea since her launch in 2004, treating her 16 charter guests onboard to a traditional setting integrated with modern technology for the ultimate holiday in the Eastern Mediterranean sunshine.
Classic exteriors, modern delights
This two-masted wooden sailing yacht boasts an abundance of deck space for guest use: The coach roof has been turned into a sunbathing area where the group can take in the surroundings from an elevated point on board. Behind, the hardtop shading the main deck aft is covered in solar panels to reduce reliance on fossil fuels for running hotel loads (hot water, TVs etc.) on board.
The main deck itself has two massive sunbeds fitted along the stern and a large U-shaped sofa with additional chairs around a table for dining in the fresh air as the waves lap at the sides of the hull. The forward section in the sunshine has an even larger alfresco dining area, with a C-shaped sofa facing forward and two large elevated tables. The section in front of the forward mast is clear for exercise and observation, and movable chairs and an inflatable Jacuzzi can be laid out as guests desire for unwinding together in the afternoon sunshine or under the vibrant colours of sunset along the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia.
Superyacht STELLA MARIS looks graceful when under sail but there are engines installed to ensure that guests can continue cruising at 9 knots up to a top speed of 12 knots.
Spacious interiors
The beautiful wooden panelling in each room is matched by the furnishings, and crisp white upholstery, carpets and ceilings between the beams enhance the light on board. A wet bar to the aft has a wide selection of spirits, soft drinks and coffee to suite all ages and occasions. A widescreen TV is placed forward for entertainment in the evenings and during transit, and there is Wi-Fi on board for guests to use whether in port or among far-flung isles in the Istrian Peninsula.
A broad beam of 8.1m/26.8ft affords plenty of space on board, and this is immediately evident in the main deck salon: Aft-facing L-shaped sofas are placed on both sides of the room with coffee tables to port and a stately table to starboard.
Atmospheric accommodation
Just as the rest of luxury yacht STELLA MARIS is traditionally styled, so is the accommodation. However, all 16 guests accommodated across 8 en-suite cabins will be provided with the height of luxury, whether staying in the Master suite or VIP stateroom, one of the double cabins or the two twin cabins. Each cabin is fully air-conditioned and the en-suite bathrooms provide a sink, toilet and shower.
To ensure guest privacy and prevent disturbing the guests late at night, the guest accommodation is separate from the crew accommodation, which provides for five and is accessed through a hatch on the main deck forward.
Water toys for all ages
The selection of water toys is designed so that you can spend one afternoon speeding over the crystal clear Croatian seas on the water skis – which come with adult and child sets – then the following day snorkel or Rendezvous Scuba dive among the amazing corals and wildlife around National Park Kornati near Zadar.
Excellent charter market reputation
Luxury sailing yacht STELLA MARIS has a proven track record of providing groups with amazing service and the holiday of a lifetime, as endorsed by charter guests who sailed on her last summer:
“…We had a fabulous time, thank you. The boat is great – very spacious with good-size rooms, and lots of different entertainment areas. The crew were amazing, taking care of every little detail for us. I would highly recommend this yacht and crew.”
