The Dubai International Boat Show, the Middle East’s largest and longest running leisure marine event, has announced that a record number of Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) members will be present at the show’s 20th anniversary celebrations. Being held from 13th to 17th of March, 2012 at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi, the show organiser, Dubai World Trade Centre, announced that an unprecedented 11 members have already booked their space, with even more believed tobook in the coming months.
Among the prized names, Abeking & Rasmussen, AMELS, Benetti, CRN, Feadship, Fincantieri, Heesen Yachts, Lurssen, Oceanco, Sanlorenzo and Trinity Yachts will all showcase their latest yacht models and designs. The dedicated SYBAss Pavillions have been further enhanced for the 20th Anniversary after the highly successful launch in 2011, set in the heart of the show within the Marina Display Area.
For the best known and most respected names in superyacht circles, the event is synonymous with success. “It comes as no surprise to us that the 20th Dubai International Boat Show is attracting so many world class superyacht builders. Alongside the SYBAss Pavillion collection Dubai International Boat Show will host more than 750 international and regional exhibiting companies and brands. Leading shipyard Westport makes a welcome return, while North Africa’s latest shipyard, Koot yachts, is among the many first time exhibitors including such well-known names as Al Rubban and AM Shipyard. Key exhibitors including Al Shaali Marine, ART Marine, Aquaspeed, Azimut, Cummins, Emirates Boats, Gulf Craft – who are celebrating their 30th anniversary – Princess Yachts and Sunseeker also ensure that the 2012 Dubai International Boat Show will be the most successful yet.
A strong international presence is a key theme in 2012. Exhibitors from more than 40 countries will be taking part including debut appearances from several new nations from as far afield as Madagascar and Tunisia.

The hugely popular Supercar Promenade returns to the show for its second year and brings with it a showcase of limited edition models and the finest examples of engineering prowess available on four wheels.
The Dubai International Boat Show welcomes back for the third consecutive year, one of the world’s most elite watch brands, Officine Panerai as a supporting partner and also for the third year in a row, Mercedes-Benz is supporting the event as the official show car. Meanwhile, leading private jet manufacturer, Bombardier joins the show as a major sponsor for the first time.
The 20th anniversary of the Dubai International Boat Show will be held at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi from 13 – 17 March 2012 and will open to trade visitors and the general public from 3:00pm – 9:30pm daily.
