The breathtaking 30-metre classic sailing yacht Merrymaid has arrived in Thailand to undertake work with Yacht Solutions. Constructed in 1904, Merrymaid superyacht arrived from Hong Kong and docked in Bangkok Dock, Bangkok to start a 3-month refit. At the moment, Yacht Solutions is also working on the refit of the 30m Broward motor yacht Escape.

The famous classic superyacht Merrymaid is circumnavigating the globe and this is her first time in Thailand. Captain Les Dunn chose Yacht Solutions as he was “looking for a yard with access for a 3.8m draft closest to Hong Kong with experience and expertise.”
Work on luxury yacht Merrymaid includes: a complete hull re-paint, antifouling, exterior varnish work, interior painting, engine and generator servicing, prop and shaft servicing and various other engineering tasks.

From Bangkok Merrymaid yacht is scheduled to resume her trip to HK, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangkok, Samui, Malaysia, Singapore, Phuket, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Maldives, Sri Lanka, India, Chagos, Mauritius, Madagascar, Durban and due to arrive in Cape Town in June 2013.
