Feadship luxury yacht UTOPIA has completed a 10-week refit finished ahead of schedule and she is now cruising in the Mediterranean.

The 72m/234ft motor yacht was built in 2004 and has been meticulously maintained since her launch, undergoing refits in 2008 and 2013. Current work involved the repainting of the accommodation, mast and foredeck as well as a blasting of the section below the waterline and a new AF system applied. A 15-year survey carried out by Lloyd’s also led to new technical additions and systems, including an upgrading of the engine room for extending her time spent at sea.
Feadship commented that the work was being done to cement her position for the future as one of the favourite yachts available on the luxury yacht charter market. Attributing to her key success is the exterior profile by De Voogt Naval Architects and her elegant interiors from renowned British Studio RWD.

Among her features are two Jacuzzis, a helideck, a comprehensive selection of water toys for all ages and fitness levels, including a 10m/33ft waterslide.
A pair of Caterpillar 3516B-DITA engines creates a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots with an impressive range of 5,000 nautical miles using a total fuel capacity of 157,000 litres.
She sleeps up to 12 guests over six en-suite cabins, which include a Master suite, two double cabins and three twin cabins. The professional crew of 17 has earned itself an excellent reputation for taking care of guests on the holiday of a lifetime.
M/Y UTOPIA is available to luxury private charters and is offering a 20% discount on all remaining dates of 7 days or more from August 25th onwards in the West Mediterranean.
