All winter and spring saw the US refit company, Front Street Shipyard, work on a major refit of the 90’ Palmer Johnson motor yacht ASHA. Superyacht ASHA has been successfully re-launched this month. She will soon head south.
The refit of luxury yacht ASHA included a lot of paint touch-ups. The flybridge has been painted and the non-skid has been replaced. ASHA’s interior has also received major updates. New teak and holly soles in the galley have been crafted, along with a magnificent new set of teak stairs. New granite countertops modernized the galley. Additional granite countertops in the master head and stonework in both the showers has refined the aesthetic of the heads. In addition, the heated tile floors have been installed in the master head. The owner’s cabin now boasts a stylish new varnished wood headboard with complimentary countertops.
The mechanical team of Front Street Shipyard has also worked on the maintenance and updating of ASHA yacht’s systems. The all-new stern thruster has been installed to improve the yacht’s agility and performance, and almost all of the hydraulic fittings and hoses have been replaced. In the power system, the shaft, flexible coupling, and props have been all refurbished.
Front Street Shipyard has also installed several new electronics as well as some new appliances on board ASHA superyacht to get her ready for cruising.
