Following a very successful inaugural event in 2014, the upcoming 2nd edition of Taiwan International Boat Show will be running at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from March 10 to 13, 2016. Registration for the 2016 event is now open, and companies are invited to register and participate in Taiwan’s top yachting event.
The 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show was marked by a huge success and hosted an amazing number of 168 companies from Taiwan and 12 other nations from all over the world, including Japan, Germany, Sweden, Australia, USA, New Zealand, UK, Italy, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Indonesia. The event was attended by 60,000 local and international visitors, and featured 60 yachts.
The second Taiwan International Boat Show is expected to greatly surpass the success of the 2014 event. The event will host 200 companies, showcasing their products and services, including motor and sail-powered boats and yachts, related equipment and accessories, maintenance services, and water leisure activities and tourism. The upcoming 2016 edition is expected to attract around 70,000 local and international visitors.
The Taiwan International Boat Show is co-hosted by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Taiwan and the Kaohsiung City Government, implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and supported by the Taiwan Yacht Industry Association.
