Originally built in Buenos Aires in 1940, the wooden 28-metre classic motor yacht METEJON is a truly iconic vessel, which used to be owned and used by the President as well as other dignitaries. Ken Freivokh Design has teamed up with Buenos Aires naval architect Gino Gandino to restore superyacht METEJON to her former glory.
Luxury yacht METEJON deserved a restoration with attention to detail to bring her back to full working order, with all the modern day amenities, while keeping her unique character, classic features and lovely proportions. Ken Freivokh Design and Gino Gandino incorporated all the required features to ensure that she becomes a truly functional and operational vessel for an owner who is world renowned for his love of the classics.
For METEJON yacht, Allufer Tempesta, the Italian company specializing in marine industry equipment, realized custom made stainless steel portholes and windows to fit the classic and minimal mood of the design. One of the many highlights of this project has been the vertical sliding window, installed on the main deck salon, which can be seen in the video below, released by Allufer Tempesta.
