As part of its expansion strategy, the well known Italian builder Riva, a brand of the Ferretti Group, plans to present Aquariva yacht tender by Gucci to the strategic Asia Pacific market. The result of the partnership with one of the top brands of Italian fashion, Aquariva yacht by Gucci is one of the company’s most popular recent models.
Aquariva yacht by Gucci lands in Singapore for the first time thanks to the great commitment of the local dealer, Hong Seh Trading, and confirming Riva’s growing presence in an area that is crucial for the boating sector’s future development and business. To prove how important this market is for Riva, the yacht – delivered early in September – will be on display from 19th to 21st April 2013 during the Singapore Yacht Show.
A perfect blend of tradition and modern style, Aquariva yacht tender by Gucci is the model customised by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini to celebrate the elegance and glamour of La Dolce Vita. The yacht perfectly combines two creative styles: on the one hand, the fibreglass hull – in Gucci’s typical polished white – on the other, mahogany – which is the ‘signature’ on all Riva crafts – lining the dashboard, the deck, the cockpit flooring, the awning cover hatch, and the fender bar.
The waterproof fabric lining the seats and the sundeck are characterised by the Guccissima print, while the sun pads stand out for the beauty of white cotton upholstery. The famous green-red-green band running along the waterline is yet another stylish element making this yacht really unique.
“The debut of the first Aquariva by Gucci in Asia, and particularly in Singapore, is an important achievement bearing witness to our brand’s commitment to constantly looking ahead at the future and widening its horizons. It also proves the increasing interest of a strategic market like the Asia Pacific one for Riva’s all-Italian style and craftsmanship” comments Paola Procopio, Riva’s brand manager. “To confirm this, two more Riva models will be delivered in Asia over the next few months: the 75’ Venere Super yacht in Singapore by the end of 2012, and a Rivale in Japan in January 2013”.
Aquariva yacht by Gucci and other Riva models, including the new 63’ Virtus yacht, were recently in the spotlight during the Festival de la Plaisance, just held in Cannes. On that occasion, the brand also celebrated another great accomplishment in the year of its 170th anniversary, presenting hull No. 100 of Rivarama Super, once more proving Riva’s success all over the world.
