Undoubtedly the most beautiful boat that Riva has ever constructed, Riva Ariston ‘Lady Lina’ yacht tender will be showcased on Ventura‘s stand A228 at the London Boat Show, ExCeL, January 4 – 12, 2014.

The Riva Ariston ‘Lady Lina’ superyacht tender may not be Riva’s most famous creation, that distinction probably goes to the legendary Aquarama yacht tender, but many aficionados agree that the Ariston is the one that’s closest to perfection, with her impeccable lines, perfect proportions and no aft sunbed to interrupt the glorious curves of that exquisite mahogany deck.
The Riva Ariston was introduced in 1950. In the 24 years that she remained in production over 1,000 were built. This was one of Riva’s most popular boats of all time. Her length was originally under 21ft, but grew to 23ft over the years in order to accommodate larger engines. This culminated with the 350hp Riva V8s fitted to later examples of the Super Ariston, which gave the boat a top speed of 50mph.

The particular Ariston which Ventura is exhibiting at the London Boat Show, was built in 1964. ‘Lady Lina’ luxury yacht tender has been in the same family all her life. She was recently restored by Fine Wooden Boats of Huntingdon to such an immaculate condition that she is virtually indistinguishable from new. She has not been used since. Trimmed in the classic Riva aqua and white colour scheme, she is powered by a 283hp Chris Craft V8 engine.
‘Lady Lina’ yacht tender is to be auctioned during the course of the show. Sealed bids will be accepted at any time until midday on Sunday 12 January. Subject to the reserve being met the winning bid will be announced on the closing day.
