Riviera, Australia’s largest and most-awarded pleasure boat builder, is the subject of a 68-page collector’s edition supplement attached to Issue 416 of Trade-a-Boat magazine, which hits the news stands on July 13.
Editor of Trade-a-Boat David Lockwood said the official stand-alone Riviera Buyer’s Guide is a must-have for all Riviera owners and enthusiasts, and it’s free with every issue.
“It’s not everyday that you come across an Australian manufacturing success story like Riviera. Its boats have stood the test of time and provided owners with hundreds of thousands of collective hours of pleasure-boating enjoyment,” David said.
“I know from experience that there’s a lot to consider when buying a new or preloved boat. But we make the decision-making process clearer with Trade-a-boat’s official Riviera Buyer’s Guide. The magazine provides everything you need to know about the 4800-plus boats produced in 70 different models over 31 years of continuous production in Australia.
“It was after pondering this great feat that we felt existing and aspiring Riviera owners might benefit from a detailed buyer’s guide. So we put the print presses in motion. We outline the specifications, production runs, market prices, best buys, collectables, top sellers, history and more from three decades,” David added.
Riviera’s director of brand and communications Stephen Milne said it was an honour for Riviera to be featured so extensively in this supplement.
“Trade-a-Boat is an Australian boating icon in fact it has been for decades, it is often referred to as the boaters Bible, and I am very impressed with the high quality publication of the Riviera Buyer’s Guide which I feel is more than a buyer’s guide but rather another piece of Riviera history and a keepsake for all Riviera enthusiasts,” Stephen said.
Trade-a-Boat Issue 416 goes on sale on July 13 and will be available at the 2011 Sydney International Boat Show.
Riviera offers 20 different models from 36 to 85 feet across four model series Flybridge, Sport Yacht, Offshore Express and Motor Yachts.
