A constellation of high achievers have taken part in Riviera’s respected Star Performer award in acknowledgment of their excellent work ethic, dedication and leadership qualities. The awards have been running for more than 12 years and recognizes exceptional employment contribution each quarter of the year as nominated by each department head, with the overall winners introduced at the end of the year.
Riviera’s human resources advisor Megan Dennis said all staff had put in a tremendous effort this quarter. “We definitely had some great nominations with 10 in total short listed from across all department and three winners finally selected – a great response,” Megan said.
“Our Star Performers are excellent role models to all staff and contractors and I congratulate them all on their achievement.”
Star Performer award recipients Robert Miller, Rhys Phillips and Bryce Goding all have a positive attitude and exceptional attention to detail.
“Robert Miller from the Waterfront produces great quality work, has a fantastic work ethic and keeps his boats safe and protected to reduce rework. He also brought forward the sign off process on the 43 Open Flybridge by one day through his diligence,” Megan said.
“Rhys Phillips and Bryce Goding from RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) Lamination were selected to travel to Adelaide to complete warranty work. The warranty team was impressed with his knowledge, skills and great attitude, which made the job far more efficient and was completed three days ahead of schedule.”
Riviera’s general counsel Cherriee Ludemann said there were five nominees for the Occupational, Health, Safety and Environment award.
“Safety is a high priority for Riviera and for these five nominees. They all lead by example and mentor other staff in their environments to do the same. They always go the extra mile and are committed to ensuring that we consistently improve our environments to make them safer for all staff, contractors and visitors,” Cherriee said.
“The nominees for the Occupational, Health, Safety and Environment award all actively promote safety in the workplace and not only raise issues but also identify solutions to these issues.”
“Our Occupational, Health, Safety and Environment award recipient Jason Gillians from Fitout 2 goes out of his way to communicate with all staff regarding safety concerns and best practices.
