Spanish boatbuilder Rodman has recently selected Simrad Yachting – a leader in the design and manufacture of world-class marine navigation, autopilots, radars, communications and fishfinding systems – as its new navigation electronics supplier for its recreation ranges Rodman Fisher & Cruiser and Rodman Spirit.
Already a supplier for Rodman’s professional range of boats, Simrad Yachting will now be supplying several devices for the recreation range of the well known Spanish shipyard. Simrad is one of the electronics options onboard the Rodman Spirit series, specifically on new model Spirit 42 which was launched at the Barcelona Boat Show equipped with Simrad electronics. It will also be one of the options on the traditional fishing range of the shipyard – the Rodman Fisher & Cruiser.
The Simrad electronics package offered by Rodman will include the NSE multifunction system, the auto pilot AP24, VHF radios RS25 and RS10 and the several times awarded Broadband Radar.
Mike Fargo, Simrad product line director, said: “We are very proud that a prestigious boatbuilder such as Rodman has chosen Simrad as one of its suppliers. Our electronics package offers a definite solution for those who demand only the best from their boats and their marine electronics.”
Pedro Ramos Polo, Sales Manager at Rodman, said: “Rodman has always carefully chosen its suppliers and appreciates the innovation, service and professionalism of the Simrad brand. Thanks to their system, our clients will be able to go out sailing with the maximum confidence in their navigation system and auto pilot.”
