The first week of 2014 saw Rondal secure two important orders. The company will design and produce the rig package for a 43,5m Frers-designed performance sloop, presently in build at Royal Huisman, as well as a 46m Tripp-designed world cruising sloop, currently under construction at Holland Jachtbouw. Both projects are scheduled to be stepped in 2015.
On the first working day of the New Year, Rondal was entrusted with the complete rig package for a 43,5m Frers-designed performance sloop, currently under construction at Royal Huisman. The rig features a 58m, four-spreader carbon fibre mast and furling boom.
The second order, from Holland Jachtbouw, is the rig package for a 46m world cruising sloop conceived by Tripp Design. Rondal will supply a four-spreader carbon fibre mast with a total length that just clears the Panama Canal’s Bridge of the Americas. The complete package includes an exclusive Rondal “styled to order” carbon fibre furling boom and composite standing rigging.
