Rosetti Superyachts has added two new supply vessel concepts from Giovanni Ceccarelli to its range, measuring 35m/115ft and 50m/164ft respectively and drawing on concepts used in racing boat design to reduce hydrodynamic resistance.
Giovanni Ceccarelli has extensive experience in designing luxury yachts, particularly sailboats. He was chief designer of S/Y MASCALZONE LATINO, the 2003 America’s Cup contender, and the +39 Challenge sailing yacht that competed in the 2007 Louis Vuitton Cup.
In both arrangements, the main deck is used for transporting tenders and toys, resulting in greater interior volume free for guest use, and the Owner’s stateroom is placed on the upper deck to provide sensational 180 views in addition to the private terrace.
35M SUPPLY VESSEL
The 35M SUPPLY VESSEL uses an 8.25m/27ft beam and one of the main features of the main deck aft is a 6.7m2/72ft2 infinity pool. When the pool is covered, there is room for storing a submarine in addition to a tender.
Inside, there is a spacious main salon and separate formal dining area, while the galley is placed forward and is directly accessed by the crew quarters. Up to eight guests are accommodated in four en-suite cabins on the lower deck, and on the upper deck, the Master suite contains a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The sundeck has sunbathing areas where the group can enjoy the elevated views.
50M SUPPLY VESSEL
The 50M SUPPLY VESSEL uses a similar layout, however, the main deck aft is split over two levels and places the tender in a dedicated garage. The 170m2/1829ft2 aft space instead hosts a large beach club area and a 13m2/139ft2 swimming pool that can be heated to become a large spa tub in colder climates. On the sundeck, there is a Jacuzzi in addition to sunbathing areas.
Inside, there is also a bar in the main salon/formal dining area and the larger beam of 10m/32.8ft further increases the interior volume for larger living areas.
A pair of twin MAN main engines power both luxury yachts, with the 35M SUPPLY VESSEL producing 1,000 HP and the 50M SUPPLY VESSEL has 1,400 HP. Both models come in below the 500 GT threshold and have excellent comfort and performance at displacement speeds.
