The respected Italian shipyard, Rossinavi has launched the FR036 motor yacht FLYING DAGGER this Saturday with the ceremony starting at noon. The 49m (160’76’’) superyacht was constructed based on the naval architecture by Arrabito Naval Architects and boasts distinct exterior lines by Team 4 Design – Enrico Gobbi. Her interiors were designed by Lazzarini Pickering Architetti and can accommodate up to 10 guests in five beautifully appointed suites.
One of the most important features of this vessel is the extensive use of glazed surfaces throughout, allowing for interiors with plenty of natural light and a great connection between the outside and the inside. More information about the launch and FLYING DAGGER II is still to be released, however we know that she is powered by three MTU 16V2000 M96L Diesel engines of 1,934kW (2,600 BHP) at 2,450 RPM resulting in a fast and powerful yacht that can reach a top speed of 27 knots and cruise at about 23 knots at hand load. She has a range of 3,300 nautical miles at 12 knots and weighs under 500GT.
