Italian shipyard, Rossinavi, is proud to announce that it will be attending the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show, showcasing the all-new 48-metre FR028 motor yacht POLARIS at ‘T’ Central berth. Designed by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi, superyacht POLARIS was launched at the Rossinavi yard in Italy’s Viareggio on March 29, 2014.
Federico Rossi, Rossinavi COO: “On POLARIS we obtained performances even better than on previous PJIV, by adopting several lightening solutions. One important fact is that the vessel runs perfectly on her design lines drawing a perfect wake at any speed. To give an idea of how much the hull is valid, the maximum list at full speed (24 kts, during RINA official trials) was a mere 2.5°. As far as the noise/vibrations levels are concerned, very close to the ones of a displacement vessel, POLARIS II, in spite of her planning forms, thanks to the technical solutions used on board, obtained the RINA COMFORT CLASS.”
“MY POLARIS” Presentation by Enrico Gobbi:
Elegant lines and successful lay-out: the perfect union between style and functionality.
A light aluminium semi-planning hull and superstructure and twin MTU 12V4000 M93L engines with 2,580 kW power make the 48-metre luxury yacht POLARIS a high-performance vessel. Spanning over three impressive decks, the vessel boasts wide spaces, generously distributed between interior and exterior areas.
