Royal Huisman’s biggest sailing yacht to date, SEA EAGLE II (81m /266ft) left her shed in the Netherlands, offering a spectacular sight to all present. Created in collaboration with Dykstra Naval Architects and Mark Whiteley, SEA EAGLE II represents the ultimate three-master schooner with contemporary design and luxurious features.
She was commissioned by the owner of the 43m Sea Eagle, launched in 2015. Sea Eagle II was built under the project 400 name and is well on schedule for delivery this year. She features a carbon composite Rondal Panamax rig, installed by Royal Huisman Amsterdam upon her launch, making her ready for sea trials and crew training.
Her sturdy plow bow and impressive overall length, make her a very special yacht, with great power and performance. Once delivered in spring 2020, she will become the latest aluminium sailing yacht built to date.
