design et al is pleased to announce that SAARANHA&VASCONCELOS have been nominated for the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2015, with Baglietto 43 motor yacht Why Worry. Superyacht Why Worry will compete in the ‘Interior Design Award – Power Yacht’ and the ‘Power Yacht over 40 Metres’ categories.
With a strong and muscular exterior, luxury yacht Why Worry is a 43-metre superyacht with a luscious and contemporary interior with extreme attention to details in a stainless steel, white, black and red combination.
Based in a very contemporary interior architecture in which the protagonists are the high gloss ebony wood and the off white leather, extraordinary red and white coral pieces. These colours are a running theme throughout super yacht Why Worry, which are replicated over the various living spaces. The chosen contemporary art is all in black and white to keep a chic and sophisticated atmosphere.
In the saloon, SA&V placed mirrors in the ceilings to provide a sense of enhancement to the room size. Sophisticated touches were applied with the use of stainless steel, white, black and red details. Throughout Why Worry yacht the environments were created by taking into account the comfort, usable space, the typical dynamics of a ship and the experience that people have in each room.
The Owner’s cabin follows a white colour scheme which provides a tranquil and secluded environment. The quarters also feature his and her wardrobes, an office and a spectacular large bathroom with backlit marble. On the main and upper aft decks is where the Owner and guests can enjoy the sea breeze with al-fresco dining and late night drinks.
SA&V have created a unique yacht interior aboard Why Worry superyacht which combines a diverse range of colour with soft bespoke furnishings.
