Sailing yacht Gliss was originally launched in 2006 by Royal Huisman and was previously known for her striking turquoise hull. After undergoing a major refit, the 32-metre sailing yacht Gliss has been relaunched, and she is now the lucky owner of the brand new hull in another attractive color “whisper gray.” Before returning to her owner, Gliss has to undergo sea trials, which will begin shortly.
Gliss was designed by famous Philippe Briand, who also took care of her naval architecture. Interior designer Pieter Beeldsnijder created the beautiful interior decor of Gliss, which has not been changed majorly throughout the refit.
Sailing yacht Gliss provides accommodation for seven guests in 4 luxurious cabins: a master stateroom, a double stateroom, a twin and a single cabin. Gliss also allows accommodation for four crew members.
The total fuel capacity of the yacht is 8,500L, which provides a maximum range of 2,000 nm at 10 knots. The top speed of Gliss is 13 knots, as she is powered by Scania D12-65M engine.
Royal Huisman announced some fantastic news: it expansion into Germany and the launch of the 58-metre sailing yacht Ngoni.
