Sailing yacht Gunfleet 74 is the new flagship of the UK shipyard, Gunfleet Marine. Scheduled for launch in 2014, the splendid Gunfleet 74 yacht is designed by renowned Tony Castro.
Designed by Experience
The Gunfleet 74 yacht features an anchorage friendly low C of G shoal draft bulb keel with a centreboard and twin rudders. A performance orientated sail plan will be complimented by a choice of cutter gear or a solent jib with hydraulic furling on both headstays for ease of handling.
In recent years the principals at Gunfleet have owned and operated three live aboard yachts in the 60-80ft size range which have each cruised extensively in waters from the Arctic to Auckland. This experience will be fully utilised in the development of this design.
An all-round stunning cruising yacht
Luxury yacht Gunfleet 74 promises a combination of a stunning profile, comfortable spacious accommodation above and below deck and a host of practical seamanlike features expected to set a new benchmark in this size range. Indeed this yacht offers a range of features normally associated with much larger vessels.
The general arrangement, joinery style and equipment will be configured to match each owner’s priorities. An extensive library of concept and technical drawings are available for review with our sales staff.
In terms of both build quality and specification the Gunfleet 74 yacht will be completed to a high standard and some special opportunities exist for early buyers.
