Following a 6-month refit, the French JFA Yachts successfully completed the refit of its 27,5m motor sailer yacht Hortense in June. Since her maiden voyage in August 2009, the JFA Hortense superyacht has travelled more than 30,000 nm comprising a test trip of 4,000 miles around the Atlantic Ocean, four transatlantic crossings, a season in the Caribbean and Mediterranean as well as a long journey from the Mediterranean to Patagonia.
After a cruise to Cape Horn and into the fjords of southern Chile, luxury yacht Hortense spent several months in Buenos Aires before returning to Concarneau for a maintenance refit.
The rig of the 27,5m superyacht Hortense was totally removed and checked. The boat underwent a complete repainting of the hull and superstructure. Motors and generators, and all systems were serviced by the crew.
Hortense is now enjoying new adventures after leaving Concarneau for a cruise in Northern Europe.
