The second hull created in collaboration between designer Nauta, naval architecture studio Judel Vrolijk and yacht builder Baltic Yachts – sailing yacht JVNB 115′ (Judel Vrolijk Nauta Baltic) – has been launched. The racer/Cruiser superyacht JVNB 115′ follows the first hull of 116′, sailing yacht DORYAN.
Right from the beginning the challenge to design the JVNB 115′ yacht was extremely interesting for Nauta, binding with some ‘key’ demands related to performance, elegance and comfort.
Luxury cruiser/racer yacht 115′ by JVNB is ready for competitive racing and excellent cruising, thanks to her clean and balanced deck and hull lines, the important sail area, the light displacement of only 88 tons and the combination of the Nauta Design general concept with the Judel-Vroljik naval architecture.
As a result of a thorough CFD intense study, the 115′ has a very high performance hull, able to accomplish the customer’s request to race with success in a number of races. The use of pre-prey carbon sandwich, a powerful sail plan and a remarkable stability achieved by the lifting keel extending from 3.65m up to 5,85m down.
Race oriented hardware and systems, including the transversal hydraulically controlled jib sheeting, which allows not only fore and aft but also inboard/outboard jib trimming, can be found on board.
On the interior guests will find elegant low weight furniture with composite panels covered with thin veneer. The styling is simple, clean and essential, with a smooth chromatic balance transmitting to the guests a deep feeling of peace and quietness through the gentle combination of oak wood and light coloured linen panels.
Following superyacht Doryan and preparing for RPNB (Reichel Pugh Nauta Baltic) 130’, this JVNB 115’ yacht represents the latest by Nauta Design in the racer/cruiser sailing yachts category.
