The new 28m/93′ sailing yacht NAHITA was launched by Wally last week in Italy. This luxury boat was built for an experienced yachtsman, keen on racing and fast cruising.
This light and powerful yacht was designed by Wally in collaboration with Luca Bassani, who also took care of the interior spaces. Her naval architecture was created by Judel Vrolijk, which provides high performance and comfortable cruising experience. Using the latest technology, Nahita was built to provide reduced displacement and increased rigidity.
The new Nahita fully reflects the Wally DNA to combine exceptional cruising capabilities and maxi racing performance” describes Luca Bassani, Wally and Wally Class president “Additionally, the deck is ultra-clean with huge living areas.”
Inspired by one of the Wally Class leaders, Open Season, and Maxi72 winners, Nahita introduces a new deck design: the central cockpit and the coamings are camouflaged, looking like a full flush.
The functional interior hosts the salon forward and crew cabin and galley amidships. The owners have enhanced privacy, thanks to the separate area located forward of the salon, while guest cabins are situated aft.
“Very powerful upwind with the same draft as the Wallycento, the new Nahita will be able to keep her lane after the start on the first upwind leg. The performance are optimised for the light to medium conditions: the yacht will have the ability to start surfing in even lower true wind speed than the Wallycentos, and easily capable to exceed the true wind speed”, concludes Vrolijk.
Nahita will be attending the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2018, held in Porto Cervo from September 2 to September 8.
