Luxury yacht designer and manufacturer, Spirit Yachts, will be presenting designs for their new sailing yacht Spirit 110’ at the eagerly awaited London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show (LYJAPCS), running from April 8 to 10, 2015. Exhibiting alongside premium brands from all over the world, Spirit Yachts will also be presenting drawings for the new elegant Spirit 40’ power boat.
Famous for the design and build of the iconic yacht on which Daniel Craig sails into Venice in the Bond film Casino Royale, Spirit has over 20 years’ experience designing and building beautiful, hand crafted wooden yachts. Hand-crafted using wood epoxy construction, Spirit yachts are immensely strong yet lightweight; a perfect balance for both the classic regatta scene and blue water cruising. Spirit’s latest plans for the sail and power boats will reveal state of the art, custom, classic yachts built with cutting edge marine technology.
Managing director Nigel Stuart will be on stand E08 at Old Billingsgate Dock to present the designs for the superyacht Spirit 110’ and discuss expansion plans for Spirit in 2015 and beyond.
Commissioned as a custom build and conceived by renowned classic yacht designer and Spirit CEO Sean McMillan, the innovative luxury yacht Spirit 110’ epitomises style, beauty and performance. McMillan comments: “The combination of the elegant wooden design, carbon rigging and an incredible power to weight ratio results in a high quality, performance superyacht that delivers under racing conditions.”
As shown in the plans to go on display in London, this powerful, modern yacht is also spacious and more than comfortable for long distance cruising, with the potential for live aboard. With the capacity to sleep up to 6 guests and 4 crew and generous entertaining space, the new Spirit 110’ yacht is perfect for luxurious family sailing. The signature Spirit fan skylights blend seamlessly into the coach roof, complementing the smooth, clean lines of the classic hull design and allow for maximum natural light into the saloon below. Whilst the eye-catching coach roof fan windows are popular, the flexibility that comes with designing and building a Spirit yacht means that alternative layouts are always available.
Nigel Stuart, managing director at Spirit Yachts says: “The London luxury show is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase plans for our new Spirit 110’ and 40’ power boat alongside the best in marine, automotive and air travel design and technology. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service throughout every step of our unique in-house design and build process so we are looking forward to engaging with the audience in London and gather feedback on our new designs.”
