The prestigious British luxury yacht maker, Sunseeker International, is celebrating an extremely successful participation in the Dubai International Boat Show 2014 in March, following the sale of its second 155 Yacht.
Its beautiful all year round climate and protected waters certainly make Dubai a significant player in the yachting market. However, asides from offering a phenomenal backdrop for a boat show, Dubai also attracts both local and international interest from yacht lovers. Its geographical location makes it an ideal stop over location for many international destinations and therefore the Show offers the ability to reach several markets at once.
With a record number of visits to the Sunseeker stand and an unprecedented level of interest in the range, this year was the luxury yacht manufacturer’s most successful show in the Emirate state to date. Most notably the Dubai Boat Show marked the sale of Sunseeker’s second 155 Yacht.
With delivery of the first of its new flagship tri-deck 155 Yacht motor yacht Blush to owner Eddie Jordan imminent the commissioning of this second yacht is testament to the incredibly high standards of design and engineering achieved in this majestic superyacht. The 155 Yacht’s innovative design and build process allows its owners a virtually free-hand when designing the yacht to their own specification, so this yacht’s layout and interior finish will be dramatically different to that of Eddie Jordan’s.
Scheduled to be delivered to its owner in summer 2016, the 155 Yacht motor yacht Hull no. 2 will boast a six cabin arrangement. One of the focal features of both the master and guests cabins will surely be the floor to ceiling glass, which will not only flood the interior with light, but also offer breath taking views.
The stunning aesthetic design of the yacht will be matched by its powerful prowess as the new owner has opted for the largest engine options available. Capable of achieving speeds of up to 25 knots but still with a super-efficient range of a more sedate 11-12 knot displacement mode, the 155 Yacht superyacht Hull no. 2 will offer an unrivalled performance.
Sean Robertson, Sales Director at Sunseeker International, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have sold another 155 Yacht. The 155 Yacht’s intricate design and build process allows for customisation of the highest level and as each yacht is so individual and unique it makes the build ever more exciting. The team back in Poole can’t wait to start work on this and are eager to create something truly bespoke.
“This latest commission just goes to show the level of enquiry from this ever growing international show.”
