Mondomarine is delighted to announce the sale of the new 40m displacement motor yacht M40 Explorer project. Scheduled for delivery early 2017, superyacht M40 Explorer has been beautifully designed by the Italian Naval Architect and Designer Sergio Cutolo – Hydro Tec.

Sergio Cutolo – Hydro Tec, with Mondomarine Engineering, has handled exterior design, structural design, hydrodynamic and engineering for the 40m super yacht 40M Explorer.
The project of interiors is designed by Umberto Fossati – Fossati Design Bureau.
Luxury yacht 40M explorer is 40 m long and has a maximum beam of almost 9 m.
It is a full displacing unit representing an evolution in the Explorer yacht concept. It indeed maintains the technical features of every long-range unit but matched here with a modern and endearing line.
Volumes are as generous as the range performances, we are close to 430 GT.
The revolutionary hull lines have been deeply studies with advanced dedicated software and then tank-tested to grant very low consumption rates, absolute comfort and an unrivalled range.
The layout has been specifically studied for the Owner, who will use the M40 Explorer yacht as a family vessel around the world; huge spaces have been dedicated to storerooms and refrigerated deposits.
The tender too will be custom made with the same family style as the M40 Explorer superyacht.
With this project Mondomarine continues its successful tradition in the Explorer market, already achieved with the celebrated charter yacht Tribù, the 50m which has already completed more than three tours around the world and that is the first unit to be awarded Green Star certification by RINA.
Mondomarine has now 4 yachts sold under construction over 40m:
– SF40 – delivery end of 2015
– M50 – delivery February 2016
– M60s – delivery June 2016
– M40 Explorer – delivery early 2017
