Heesen Yachts is excited to announce that the new 51m motor yacht YN 18151 has been successfully sold. Luxury superyacht YN 18151 by Heesen is a beautiful semi-displacement full-custom vessel below the 500GT threshold, entirely designed by bespoke Eidsgaard Design, with naval architecture and engineering by the yard’s in-house team. She is scheduled for delivery in Spring 2018, following intensive sea trials in the North Sea.
Destined for fast cruising, the all-aluminium luxury yacht YN 18151 by Heesen is run by twin MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesel engines, achieving an outstanding maximum speed of 25 knots with a range of 2,425nm at cruising speed of 11 knots.
The innovative exterior lines of Heesen YN 18151 superyacht are enhanced by the extensive use of curved glazed glass that gives this striking vessel the aggressive look of a jet fighter, mixed up with simplified details that highlight the purity of the exterior lines. One of the many remarkable features aboard the vessel is the connection between outdoor and indoor on the main deck. Glass sliding doors protect the aft cockpit from the elements, transforming it into a ‘winter garden’ that allow guests to enjoy this amazing indoor-outdoor area even later in the season.
Heesen super yacht YN 18151 can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 magnificent cabins. The owner’s suite, traditionally positioned on the main deck forward, features a fixed balcony with glass sliding doors that allow fresh air to flow into the room. The additional cabins can be found on the lower deck, including two double cabins aft and two twin cabins with convertible beds forward. The latter can be transformed into a full-beam VIP cabin with double bed and sofa corner.
Eidsgaard Design team comments: “We are delighted to be embarking on our first collaboration with Heesen yachts. From the outset the challenging and dynamic brief from the owner promised to create something truly unique and uncompromising, and we are very much looking forward to this yacht making a splash in early 2018.”
Ten yachts are currently under construction at the prestigious Dutch shipyard, with deliveries spanning through to 2018.
