The first hull in the SANLORENZO 44 ALLOY series has been unveiled in video by the Italian shipyard.
Measuring 43.9m/144ft, the motor yacht was developed in conjunction with Zuccon International Project and is on track for a delivery in 2019 as the first of three hulls in the series.
Extensive glazing can be seen in the concept images for the main deck and upper deck to create light and airy interiors connected to the natural surroundings, while the accommodation on the lower deck will receive plenty of light through the portholes while ensuring guest privacy.
In terms of specifications, she offers volume of 440 GT, a beam of 8.9m/29ft and a draft of 2.3m/7.5ft. Twin-screw MTU engines will provide a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots.
“I love to see the birth of a new model,” commented Massimo Perotti, chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo. “To pore over drawings with my colleagues, discuss every single detail and improve, improve again until we finally see the real project and finalise it with the owner, who places his dream in our hands. The most satisfying part is to see later in the water exactly what we had in mind.”
Sanlorenzo is also currently constructing its flagship superyacht, the SANLORENZO 64 STEEL due to launch in 2019, and a new model will be added to the aluminium yachts range in 2020.
