Sanlorenzo is to display its two latest superyachts over 30 metres at the Monaco Yacht Show, running from 28th September until 1st October. Both yachts were built on-site at Sanlorenzo’s new facility in La Spezi (Cantieri, San Marco) and boast an impressive array of water toys.
Sanlorenzo 460EXP “X” (42 meters), the second yacht in the explorer range, is a superyacht with only 460 gross tonnage and an autonomy exceeding 4000 nautical miles, capable of reaching remote destinations. It can house on board a number of extraordinary equipment to continue the exploration under the water, by a real submersible, in the skies, by a sea plane or a helicopter, and to reach the most inaccessible spots by a sailboat. The “toys” can be located on the large space at bow or on the spacious main deck astern, where a dedicated crane easily move them in and out of the water.
Sanlorenzo 46Steel “Scorpion” (46 meters), the flagship of the Sanlorenzo fleet, is a five-deck superyacht with a steel displacement hull. Scorpion is the latest yacht of the successful 46-metre line; its interiors are an example of the “fusion art deco” style, displaying unique pieces created for her only by Italian and international craftsmen, like an imposing, 4-metre glass sculpture produced by an Italian glass master and reaching up to the sun deck from the main deck, the precious bathroom mosaics created in Moscow and the luxurious silk rugs weaved in China and Nepal.
6 yachts in the 46Steel line are at sea at the moment, and the seventh unit has just been delivered to an owner from Hong Kong.
