Classic yacht MALAHNE is ready for Mediterranean charters this summer, providing her guests with an award-winning refit from the World Superyacht Awards 2016. Built in 1937, 50m/165ft M/Y MALAHNE survived the dangers of World War II and hosted many prominent historical figures before she entered the charter market.
A refit in the 1980s modernised her interiors but also stripped her of her heritage, until a 30 month refit at the Pendennis shipyard that ran until 2015 and saw a complete overhaul to return luxury yacht MALAHNE to her former glory. G. L. Watson & Co reinstated her exterior and crew areas, while Oliver Laws Ltd restored her interiors to their former 1930s glory.
In the main salon guests will find a bright environment filled with Art Deco furnishings, from the pattern of the carpet to the light bulb covers on the ceiling. A grand piano will entertain guests with live music while they lounge on the sofas and drink in the ambiance.
The formal dining room turns meals into a grand affair in its own dedicated dark-panelled space. Up to 10 guests will enjoy a comfortable meal surrounded by unique artwork and period decor.
