Sealine is delighted to announce the launch of ‘Sealine Yachts Asia’, a joint venture with KOP Nautical, a division of the group KOP Group Pte Ltd, based in Singapore. With interests in hotels, resorts, properties and marine activities, the group currently has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing and there are plans to open up to five new Sealine dealer offices in China during 2011.
The official launch of the new company will take place during the forthcoming Hong Kong Boat Show in May. The first boat to be displayed at the show from the current range will be the modern and spacious F46 Flybridge motor yacht. A range of Sealine models will also be presented at the other Asian Shows during the year.
Commenting on the new venture Chris O’Connor Sealine’s Managing Director said “this is a very exciting and important development for Sealine. The markets in the Far East are experiencing real growth and we are delighted to be working with a partner who has an excellent track record here in the leisure marine sector. Sealine’s success with its new models has generated a great deal of interest from the Far East and we now have a very strong partner to help us service the demand. This new venture, combined with our commitment to invest in new product – eight new models over the next three years – will help ensure strong growth for the Sealine brand.”
Nigel How, General Manager from KOP Nautical, is equally enthusiastic about the partnership “the Sealine design ethos of British industrial, luxury with contemporary styling and the focus on the best use of social space, will be very appealing for our customers. Sealine’s reputation for innovation and quality will also be very well received in the Far East markets. We are looking forward to developing the market together with Sealine”
