The hull of the second 42m Perini Navi E-Volution sailing yacht has been launched in Istanbul, which at this stage means that the vessel is on track for delivery in 2021. She will soon be transported to Italy for finishing.
Designed for performance cruising, the yacht features naval architecture by Reichel/Pugh and exterior profile by the in-house team at Perini Navi. Built with an aluminium hull, GRP superstructure and carbon fibre deckhouse, she has a total gross tonnage of only 275 GT.
Accommodation is offered for up to eight guests across four cabins, and seven crew members in four cabins.
The second hull in the Perini Navi 42m E-Volution series will be equipped with a 2,300 sqm sail, which will provide a maximum speed of 12 guests. At her cruising speed of 10 knots, the yacht has a transatlantic range of 3,200 nautical miles.
