SELEX Communications Yacht Technologies, a Finmeccanica company and one of the world’s leading providers of navigation, communication, security and entertainment solutions for superyachts, will be hosting an exclusive seminar at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
Taking place on Thursday 23rd September, 5pm – 6pm at Burgess’ offices in Monaco, Yacht Technologies will be revealing its groundbreaking Integrated Antenna Solutions (IAS) capabilities for superyachts. Attendees will be the first to gain an insight into this extraordinary technology, set to revolutionise superyacht design by seamlessly integrating antennas into the physical fabric of the vessel, enabling visually intrusive protruding masts and aerials to be partially or completely removed from sight while maintaining optimum equipment performance.
John Hodder, Head of Yacht Technologies commented: “We’ve had so much interest in IAS and its capabilities that we’ve decided to hold an event at the show. This will offer selected industry leaders an insight into the future of superyacht design. This is a proven technology as SELEX has been applying IAS in naval applications for more than ten years so we feel now is the right time to launch this to the superyacht industry.”
In addition to the IAS seminar, Yacht Technologies will be officially launching its new security offering on its stand in the Darse Sud tent on the first day of the Monaco Yacht Show (Wednesday 22nd September 2010).
