Sensory International, world leaders in the marine and residential market, has been awarded the ‘Best Marine Installation’ for work carried out on board superyacht Cloud 9. This is the second consecutive year Sensory International have received the accolade by the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) at their 2011 annual industry awards ceremony in London.
This prestigious award was given for the installation that Sensory International carried out on board the motor yacht Cloud 9 which was built by CMN Yachts in partnership with the acclaimed yacht designers Andrew Winch Designs. This is the second award-winning yacht launched by CMN from their 60 metre series; the first yacht, superyacht Slipstream, enabled Sensory International to scoop the ‘Best Marine Installation’ award in 2010.
The board of judges at this year’s awards included leading figures not only from within the industry but also from the world of architecture, interior design and technology. The judges were very impressed with Sensory International’s work, commenting that “the jaw-dropping technical installation here is every bit as enthralling as the visual spectacle of this yacht”, and applauded Sensory International’s “ability to tease out full performance from every aspect of the equipment’s specifications.”
“We are all absolutely thrilled to have won this CEDIA award for the second year in a row. At Sensory International we work very closely with our clients and partners to deliver the best in class in everything that we do, and that includes designing the most robust and functional systems in the world. This recognition of the high quality of our systems and the hard work and skills of everyone at Sensory International is something that we are all extremely proud of.”
