Australian shipyard Silver Yachts has received its second 85m/278.9ft luxury yacht Silver Loft model, known as HULL 006, from its construction facilities in Jiangmen, China.
The second Silver Loft will be almost identical to the first Silver Loft, M/Y BOLD, which has exterior styling by Espen Oeino and won Outstanding Lifestyle Feature at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2020, and she was a finalist for the Eco Award at the same show.
Constructed in all-aluminium with a semi-displacement hull form, HULL 006 will accommodate up to 16 guests over 8 en-suite cabins along with a crew of 10 and a staff of 11.
Her on board amenities include a spacious lower deck aft helipad that can be used as a sunbathing area and outdoor lounge once clear, while the upper deck has an enormous skylounge deserving of the ‘Loft’ name at 300m2/3229ft. The bridge deck hosts another enormous outdoor living space that can be shaded by a bimini, and up on the sundeck there is a sun-drenched aft lounge and a forward raised Jacuzzi for taking in the views.
The Silver Yacht model has a transatlantic range of 5,500 nautical miles at 18 yachts, and she has a top speed of 23 knots using a pair of MTU 16V 4000 M73L engines.
The second Silver Loft is still available for purchase and delivery is expected before the end of 2020.
