The ONEº15 Marina Club at Sentosa Cove will be once again hosting the Singapore Yacht Show (SYS), running from April 10 to 13, 2014. The 4th edition of the event will showcase a larger and more diverse choice of luxury yacht brands than ever before.
SYS is delighted to be welcoming back many loyal supporters of the fast-growing event, with many more new exhibitors joining the growing band of brands looking for a new market in Asia. Luxury Yachts (representing Carver, Cruisers, Dominator, Formula, Marquis, Sanlorenzo and Sessa), Princess Yachts Asia (the eponymous yachting brand), SG Boating (representing Chaparral, Fairline, Leopard Catamarans, Meridian and Pursuit), Simpson Marine (representing Azimut, Beneteau and Lagoon), Heesen Yachts and Northrop & Johnson have all booked their preferred spots.
The show has also presented three new team members.
Three new team members
Phil Blake, a veteran of the South East Asian yachting and marina scene, has now joined us full time as Event Director. Phil recently returned to Singapore from a six-year stint in the Middle East where he was general manager of the Dubai Marina Yacht Club. He will lead the Singapore Yacht Events team and oversee future editions of the Singapore and Phuket Shows, as well as the development of new events for the company.
Elena Patriarca joins the team as Exhibitor Relationship Manager, Europe. Based in her native Italy, Elena has 15 years experience in the boating industry, having worked for a range of prestigious yachting publications.
Elena, who is fluent in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, has a close working relationship with most of the major players in the European yachting industry.
Vishmi De Silva moved to Singapore from Australia back in 2007, and leveraging her extensive commercial background, was a partner in a corporate consultancy focused on helping international companies navigate the South East Asian business landscape. Having consulted to Singapore Yacht Events since its inception, Vishmi now joins the team full-time as Business Development Manager. She will focus on strategic business initiatives and partnership programmes.
