From today, January 7, the rebrand of SP-High Modulus enters into force, with all of the company’s composite products as well as services now marketed all over the world under the corporate brand, Gurit.
“Today marks the start of a new phase for us,” says Paul Goddard, General Manager – Industrial and Marine, at Gurit. “The SP and High Modulus brands have served us well, but now we look to the future. By bringing all of our products and services under the Gurit brand and collaborating more closely with the wider Gurit group, which serves various markets and applications, we are better positioned to continue to offer innovative composite solutions to our customers, via a reliable supply chain.”
Gurit offers a full range of composite materials to the marine and general industrial sectors, including: fibre-reinforced prepregs; carbon, glass and aramid fabrics; structural cores; epoxy gel coats, adhesives and laminating systems; tooling solutions; consumables; as well as technical support services and structural engineering design. Although the company brand has changed, the established product names remain the same.
Recent Gurit projects, which illustrate the growing market for composite materials across a broad range of applications, include: public art installation (Australia), milking platforms (New Zealand), ice hockey equipment (USA), ground-breaking architecture (Saudi Arabia), and luxury superyachts (Finland).
