Yachting Developments has announced that it has received a new superyacht order for a 33m/109ft Sportfisher HULL 1017.
Warwick Yacht Design of New Zealand created her naval architecture, which will be built with a carbon hull and superstructure using carbon epoxy construction to improve performance and reduce her overall weight.
Yachting Developments has previously worked with Warwick Yacht Design on five projects, including 30.5m/100ft motor yacht QUINTESSENTIAL and the shipyard’s Managing Director Ian Cook talked about the current collaboration: “We are proud to have signed this exciting new project and look forward to collaborating with the Warwick Yacht Design office and their repeat client to bring this custom superyacht build to life.
“It is always a privilege to be chosen to work on a new build project and the signing of Hull 1017 is no exception.”
Construction on HULL 1017 is expected to begin within the first quarter of 2018.
