The St.Maarten Heineken Regatta 2014 entrants are eligible for waived registration fees. Organizers are delighted with the early entries thus far and have presented an early registration campaign to encourage participants to attend the event. Candidates must register online or with the regatta office directly in order to be eligible.
St. Maarten Heineken Regatta 2014 Entries
This campaign started when boat owners entered the regatta at the HISWA boat show in Amsterdam earlier this month. Several competitors took advantage of the campaign and earned themselves a free entry to the event. Congratulations goes out to Fedde Andela, Harry Aarsse, Ed van den Heuvel and Michel Schavemaker who were all early entrants and will take part in the 2014 event, while having their entry fee waived.
The Sint Maarten Yacht Club Regatta Foundation, organizers of the event, are pleased to extend the offer to those competitors that were not able to make it to the boat show. In addition there are other great prizes for boats registering early:
• The next five (5) entries to officially register online or through the regatta office will earn themselves a waived entry fee for the regatta.
• The next five (5) regional boats (Registered in the Caribbean) will receive an official 2014 regatta t-shirt at registration.
• The next three (3) boats that enter online and that will participate the ARC (Atlantic Rally of Cruisers) this year will receive a free t-shirt upon presenting proof of participation at registration in St.Maarten. (Please put ARC info in the comments section of your registration form)-
There are already two boats registered that are also taking part in the ARC in 2014. Sailboat “Khalessi” skippered by Mikkel Hagelund of Norway, is joined by his friends and will be participating in both events as well as Belgium skipper Dirk Vael, sailing aboard “Gabian IV”. Regatta organizers want to wish them safe passage and look forward to seeing these competitors at registration where their t-shirt awaits them.
