Two new members of staff have been added to the busy studio of Design Unlimited, the prestigious exterior styling as well as interior design firm, based on the south coast of England.
Suzie Brushett joins as personal assistant to founder and lead designer Mark Tucker, managing both his schedule and playing an important role in the smooth running of the studio. She has worked in a number of leading yachting organisations including the RYA, ISAF and Challenge Business, as well as at top broker Nigel Burgess. Suzie is a keen dinghy sailor, most recently with her young family, and also has experience of keelboat racing on the Solent.
Meanwhile Marcus Rayner has come on board as a designer. With a first-class degree from Coventry University in Transport and Product Design, early jobs included working in product design as well as taking a lead role on the development of a concept sports car for Concept Climax Ltd. Thereafter he joined top UK motor yacht builder Sunseeker where, over a five year period, he focused on interior design and development right across the model range. Marcus is also an experienced recreational sailor.
“We’re very pleased to welcome them to the DU team,” said Mark Tucker. “The studio is currently busy with both custom superyacht and production projects, and Marcus and Suzie represent a valuable addition to our capability.”
Current projects underway at Design Unlimited include the 108ft sailing yacht WinWin and the 155ft superyacht Pink Gin VI, a number of major motor yacht refits, and active partnerships with production yards including Bavaria, Windy Boats and Sirena Marine.
