Palumbo’s ITM shipyard in Marseille has proudly announced an amazing level of business this year, with a steady flow of outstanding private and charter yachts, visiting the facility for service and repair work. Such striking vessels as the 55m Pendennis Steel, the 60m CMN Slipstream, the 71m Luerssen charter yacht Titania, the 74m CRN Yalla and the 78m Royal Denship charter yacht Pegasus VIII (ex Pegasus V, Princess Marianna), have all reached the well equipped French facility in recent months to benefit from their world class equipment and expertise.
Thanks to their four dry docks ranging from 80 to 126 meters in length, a 95 meter watershed and more than 300m of quays for afloat repairs, the 12000 square meter shipyard has become the first choice for super yachts in the South of France to carry out repair and refit work.
For longer interventions, the Marseille facility is ideally positioned to accommodate the requirements of an international crew. At just 20 minutes from the International Airport, Palumbo ITM also provides easy access to the city center, shopping malls, and over 8 km of sandy beaches.
Orders are already being placed for the upcoming months, and Palumbo’s management has reported a busy start to 2016.
