Designed by Dubois and built by Pendennis, the striking sailing yacht TENAZ has been announced as the winner of the 2016 Superyacht Cup Antigua. This is the first regatta won by TENAZ with her Owner, taking the victory in the Buccaneers Class, winning impressive four races after battling closely with the 2007 OYSTER 82 yacht ZIG-ZAG.
Originally launched as MAMAMOUCHI in 1996, with interiors by Redman Whiteley Dixon, the 39-metre performance sloop boasts beautiful sleek lines, trademark pilothouse and a very spacious Owner’s suite. Since her launch TENAZ underwent numerous refits at Pendennis, including one in 2005 and one in 2009.
The shipyard announced that it will be closely following her progress in the St Barths Bucket, which is scheduled to take place from 17th-20th March and represents one of the most enjoyable and iconic Caribbean events. In addition, the yard will be supporting Rebecca, which was also launched by Pendennis, but designed by Frers.
