Karpaz Gate Marina, a beautiful Mediterranean yacht charter destination, nestled in North Cyprus, has proudly announced its most successful boot Dusseldorf, following an important increase in interest at last month’s event.
The luxury 5 Gold Anchor-rated destination established more than 40 new leads and secured several contracts at the nine-day exhibition, which remains one of the year’s most important shows for the marina as it continues to attract more boats and superyachts.
With the benefits and appeal of Karpaz Gate Marina and the Eastern Mediterranean continuing to attract increasing numbers within the boating community, the well-attended German event again proved to be an invaluable tool for networking and further enhancing the marina’s reputation.
“Germany is discovering the Eastern Mediterranean,” said Karpaz Gate Marina Harbour Master Deniz Akaltan. “Visitors to the stand were already aware of some of the advantages of cruising and berthing in the Eastern Mediterranean and were very interested to hear about everything on offer at Karpaz Gate Marina, including the attractive berthing prices and tax savings as well as all the leisure options. In addition to the new leads confirmed at the show, there was also particular interest in our technical services and well-equipped dry dock with some specific leads arising in this area.
“The number of larger boats visiting our marina continues to increase every year and the positive feedback at boot Dusseldorf has provided us with further optimism for the season ahead.”
Karpaz Gate Marina is the first modern superyacht marina in Northern Cyprus. With the capability to accommodate vessels up to 55m, berth services include power and drinking water to all berths and high speed Wi-Fi and TV connection, while the duty-free status at the marina provides savings on fuel, technical service and supplies.
Leisure options include Hemingway’s restaurant and bar overlooking the marina, Fitness Centre with modern gym facilities as well as the Beach Club with spectacular infinity pool. For boat owners who need repair or maintenance work carried out on their vessels, the marina has an impressive 18,000 square metre dry dock with 300-ton capacity travel hoist.
Described as the world’s biggest boat and water sports trade fair, this year’s boot Dusseldorf featured 1,741 exhibitors in 17 exhibition halls and was visited by 240,200 people from around 60 countries.
